Some more info on my Luxury Collectible Costume Jewelry collection. A fashionista friend of mine introduced me to the concept of collecting vintage costume jewelry in the mid-1990’s.

These items were made by jewellers such as Miriam Haskell (my favorite,) and Frank Hess (who designed many of Haskell’s pieces). Then there were also Original by Robert, Hobe, Eisenberg and Trifari, to name but a few.

In pursuit of adding to my growing Swarovski crystals collection I always popped into Butler & Wilson during shopping trips to London back in the 80’s and 90’s. 

Some of the Luxury Collectible Costume Jewelry products displayed in this category were fitted on a professional female (half body) dress form, size US 8 (from 1986).

None of these pieces where ever manipulated by altering the fit on the body form.
